The move to Agile working methods was probably the biggest change in the role of the Tester. We went from being the people who just got involved in the end of the process, to now have the ability to be an integral part of the SDLC from the second the requirements come into the team, all the way through to when our customers are using our applications.

In this workshop we will focus on how to ensure that the tester is at the heart of development – how we can influence how we work and what we produce; how we can reduce unnecessary documentation (test plans, test scripts and bug reports, for example); help speed up delivery; collaborate more; and look at how we need to focus on value throughout.
