Paul Gerrard

Paul has conducted assignments in all aspects of Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Previously, he has worked as a developer, designer, project manager and consultant for small and large developments. He holds degrees from the Universities of Oxford and Imperial College London, was a member of committee of BCS SIG in Software Testing (SIGIST), Founding Chair of the ISEB Tester Qualification Board and the host/organiser of the UK Test Management Forum conferences.
An internationally renowned, award-winning software engineering consultant, author, coach and thought leader, Paul is a regular keynote speaker and tutorial presenter and has presented over 250 talks, tutorials and seminars at conferences in the UK, continental Europe, USA and Australia since 1993. He has won several “Best Presentation” conference prizes, and was awarded the “European Testing Excellence Award” by Eurostar conferences in 2010 and the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from The European Software Testing Awards (TESTA) in 2013.
Paul has written many papers, articles and blogs, co-wrote “Risk-Based E-Business Testing” with Neil Thompson, self-published “The Tester’s Pocketbook” and the “Business Story Pocketbook” written with his business partner, Susan Windsor. He is the Programme Chair for the 2014 EuroSTAR conference in Dublin.”
Dr Nishi Yasuharu

Dr. Nishi is an Assistant Professor, Department of Informatics at University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo. Regarded as a visionary leader on software testing in Japan, he researches and consults for industries on software testing, quality, safety, process improvement, TQM and service engineering.
He is currently the President of the Association of Software Test Engineering (ASTER), an industry-wide organization for software testing technology in Japan. He is a founder of Japan Symposium on Software Testing (JaSST) and Japan Software Testing Qualifications Board (JSTQB). He also organizes Consortium of Quality Assurance for Artificial-Intelligence-based products and services (QA4AI) in Japan.

Dr Naveen Kumar

Naveen Kumar is an Associate Professor in Management Information Systems (MIS) division at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, Norman and has years of experience in information systems and data science. Dr. Kumar holds a PhD degree from the University of Washington, Seattle (2006). Previously before joining academia in 2015, Dr. Kumar worked for more than 9 years as a data science researcher at Intel Corporation, one of the nation’s leading high-tech companies. His research interests include machine-learning and artificial intelligence techniques with a focus on developing and applying analytics methods for contemporary big data applications. In a short span of few years in academia, his research has been published in leading journals such as Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, and Strategic Management Journal. He has also received a nomination for the Best Paper in the Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), 2017.
